Bio: My name is Olivia Klaar. I graduated from Stockton University with a liberal studies degree with minors in disability studies, and childhood studies.  I have always known that I wanted to become a teacher. This is my first year at DMA! My Catholic faith is very important to me, and I love that I get to share and educate it with my students in the Pre K3 curriculum.

I like working at the Academy because…I love working at  Divine Mercy Academy because it truly feels like a  family. I’m surrounded by colleagues who share the same passion for supporting and inspiring  students . There’s a collaborative spirit here at DMA that makes every day feel fulfilling, as we work together to create a positive and engaging learning environment for our students! 
Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy is  that early childhood education should be personalized, supporting creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. I see each child as a unique individual with their own strengths, needs, and learning styles, and I believe it’s my role to create an environment that honors and supports their growth in every area socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.

When I’m not in the classroom you will find me…When I am not in the classroom you will find me spending time with loved ones around me. My family and friends are extremely important to me, and support my teaching journey.
My Personal Motto…everyday is a new day! It teaches that no matter what happened in the past, each new day is a fresh start, offering a chance to try again, learn, and improve!
